Other duties will include engagement with the business community; assessment/evaluation of instruction; career advisement, recruitment, and retention activities; and participation in college and University committees.
The position reports to the associate dean of the College of Business and Industry.
Qualifications: Required Education and/or Work Experience: Ph.
D.
in Accounting from an accredited institution (ABD with completion date no later than August 2024 considered) Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: Previous teaching experience across multiple delivery modes including full online Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Classroom and online instruction Service to college and University, including career advising and committees Curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation Assessment and evaluation of instruction Engagement with the business community Other Job Duties and Responsibilities: Activities in support of the recruitment and retention of students Attendance and participation in all faculty and administrative meetings, Student Research Symposium, commencement ceremonies, and other meetings/events as required Other duties as assigned.
Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to foster teamwork and by providing leadership to subordinates.
Requires consistent on-time attendance.
