*Mobile Crisis Response Member *needed for Community Mental Health Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Must handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
The Mobile Crisis Response Team is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and clinical care to any community member making contact with The Guidance Center's Here to Help (H2H) Mobile Crisis Response Team or requiring intervention in the community.
The focus of the Mobile Crisis Response Team position is to support and mentor consumers to achieve crisis resolution, community inclusion, a greater level of independence and productivity, and promote and encourage recovery and resiliency in both their mental and physical health.
The Mobile Crisis Response Team serves Sebastian and Crawford counties.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Assists team members in providing trauma sensitive and recovery focused crisis interventions both onsite or within the community
* Interacts with consumers, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations (i.
e.
, change in physical and/or mental conditions; behavioral changes) to clinical staff
* Monitors and observes the environment for potential unusual, emergent and/or dangerous situations
* Assists consumers with linking to community resources and entitlements while facilitating and supporting the consumer in completing requirements to access these.
Coordinates with Network Benefit staff, as necessary
* Provides support for inpatient placement efforts for consumers.
Works collaboratively with Crisis Team staff, provider network staff, hospital staff, and natural supports to find appropriate placements
* Provides crisis transport services, as needed
* Performs administrative support such as filing, typing reports, copying, faxing, etc.
as needed as well as to support team functions, as assigned.
* Knowledge of and adherence to the ethical standards governing Center operations
* Acknowledge and accept that culture is a significant factor in shaping people's behaviors, beliefs, and values
* Respect the unique, culturally defined needs and behaviors of various population groups or individuals
* Report to work on time, maintain regular attendance, and communicate schedule changes promptly with supervisor
* Perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor and/or Center
*Requirements:*
* Must be 21 years of age.
* High School diploma or equivalent, required.
* Must pass background checks and drug screen.
* CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention training, upon hire.
* Mental Health First Aid Training, upon hire.
* CPR, AED, and First Aid Training, upon hire.
* Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) Training, upon hire.
* Preferred: Experience in a mental health or related field.
Associates degree in a related human services field.
