Maintenance Automation Technician – Dpt 140 Fort Smith Debone 2nd Shift 2:30 pm – 11:30 pm Pay Rate: $31.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Troubleshoot and maintain programmable logic controllers.
Must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of electrical and electronic equipment with limited supervision.
Must be proficient in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulic equipment, and electrical and welding skills.
Must be able to accept written and verbal direction from supervisor as well as provide written detail about work performed.
Must be proficient in 120, 208, 240, and 480 VAC circuits.
Must be proficient in DC voltages and circuits.
Must be proficient in circuit breakers, line diagrams, schematics and blue prints.
Proper use of volt/ohm meter, megohmeter, analog and digital meters.
How to properly install 120 VAC male plugs, female cord caps, receptacles, light switches / motors.
Must be proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools.
Must be proficient in troubleshooting of equipment in an industrial environment which includes mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components/equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.
Familiar with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment.
Must be able to maintain prompt and regular job attendance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Education and/or Experience High School Diploma / GED required / Documented technical training preferred / Minimum 6 months cumulative industrial maintenance experience or equivalent training required.
