POSITION TITLE: Electrical Foreman
FLSA: Non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Maintenance
Terms of Employment: A full contract for this position is 240 days, with benefits as specified in employee contract.
Contract will be prorated based on actual start date.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED.
Master Electrical license preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Supervisory experience preferred
Ability to push/pull a minimum of 20 lbs.

Ability to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height occasionally
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for supervising the technical phases of the electrical crew's schedule; work through and coordinate with the Supervisor of Maintenance
Familiarize all new crew with their job duties
Present a job-related training class to all crew as time permits
Be available for occasional non-work-day emergencies
Host safety and training meetings with the members of the electrical department
Ability to perform and oversee the necessary electrical work across the district
Coordinate work across the departments with the other department foreman and lead foreman to complete tasks in a timely efficient manner and
Maintain the work orders and preventative maintenance at an efficient level
Advise the Supervisor of Maintenance on staffing needs
Attend meetings and Professional development for yourself and assist your team in maintaining and acquiring their license/continuing education hours
Plan and supervise short and long term department projects
Advise the Supervisor of Maintenance with purchase of department equipment and supplies
Maintains prompt and regular attendance
Demonstrates the ability to maintain positive professional working relationships with others
Maintains emotional control under stress
Abide by state statutes, school board policies, and regulations
Must be able to work independently and supervise others
Attend meetings as scheduled by supervisors and district administration
Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to endure prolonged standing, walking, sitting, occasional reaching above the head or the shoulders, bending, squatting, and kneeling
