Job Summary: As a Hytrol Summer Intern, you will partner with members of our Engineering and Manufacturing staff to support one of our specialized teams in Design, R&D, Controls, or Manufacturing.
You will develop your engineering skills through job assignments, improve industry knowledge, and contribute to your professional development, while supporting a variety of industries across the world.
• Summer program lasting 8 – 10 weeks
• Average 40 hours per week @ $20/hour
• Paid housing for out-of-town participant
Continuous Improvement Engineering: A Continuous Improvement Engineer works closely with production departments to identify areas of improvement and develop processes to improve flow in manufacturing.
CI Engineers communicate with the manufacturing management team to implement and complete cost saving projects.
This may include anything from designing a new process that makes the job easier to do or designing specialized tools and equipment that could help an operator complete a task more efficiently.
They monitor and report scrap activities and research equipment related to capital improvement.
