Swarm trap - $50

I build my own swarm traps out of cut down deep boxes.
Hang deep frames in the box and close up the side.
Bait with a vial of Swarm Commander and hang as high as you can (I put mine on my ladder stands).
They are very effective at catching and holding swarms.
When it catches a swarm, unscrew the side panel, pull out the frames and drop them in your hive.
The trap comes with a metal handle bolted to the top of it.
