Their father is a pure white ruby eyed New Zealand buck, their (2 different) mothers are half White New Zealand and half Californian.
This combination makes for a thin bone structure while getting the most bang for your buck on feed to meat ratio.
My does consistently have 8 to 12 kits per litter.
10 or more more often than not.
28 to 31 days gestation on average, and should be processed at 4 to 5 months old if used for meat.
Beyond that it just starts costing more to feed them vs meat.
You should find that they're around 5lbs at 4 months old, give or take.
That's what mine are.
They're free fed all the grain they want and then supplemented with hay, dandelions and whatever else I pick for them, berries on occasion, etc
They're raised in a colony setup, rather than cages.
Happy bunnies, just skittish from not being handled personally very often.
These ladies will be ready to breed and make you some coin 1.
5 or 2 months from now.
As of 2:30pm Saturday April 13th I'm down to a trio and that will be it for another couple months.
(Asking $60 for the trio)
Pickup only, located in Alma near A to Z
$25 each for the does and $20 for the bucks
Thanks for your consideration.
